About Nabeel S. Koro, MD
Dr. Nabeel Koro is board certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine. His clinical interests lie in general gastroenterology, colorectal cancer prevention, with special interests in gastrointestinal oncology, pancreaticobiliary disorders, hemorrhoid banding, TIF procedures, and interventional endoscopy, including endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).
Dr. Koro was born in Amman, Jordan. He received his medical degree from the University of Jordan, and his internal medicine residency, as well as, his fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at Saint Louis University. Dr. Koro pursued an additional year of advanced fellowship mastering advanced endoscopic procedures at the Medical University of South Carolina. In addition to being fluent in both English and Arabic, Dr. Koro also has a rich background in teaching, research, and writing publications, as well as presenting at several national conventions.
When Dr. Koro is not working, he can be found spending time with his three young boys, watching sports, enjoying a movie, or cooking a delicious meal.
