About Britni Lucas, PA-C
Britni Lucas is a certified physician assistant (PA-C) at Methodist Cardiovascular Consultants — Celina, which she joined in 2025. Her focus is on preventing heart disease. She works with patients who have heart conditions such as high cholesterol, high blood pressure, arrhythmias, coronary artery disease, heart failure, and valvular heart disease. She also is proficient in Spanish.
Lucas became interested in cardiology even before she started physician assistant graduate school. She worked in a variety of healthcare settings as an electrocardiogram (EKG) technician and with cardiac devices. During that time, she became intrigued with the science behind her work. Her interest grew even stronger after becoming a physician assistant. She is fascinated by the continuous innovation and advancements in cardiology.
Lucas is passionate about supporting her community in a meaningful way. She enjoys helping patients learn about healthy living and co-creating tailored treatment plans with them. She prioritizes listening to her patients, making sure they know their opinions and goals are important.
When she isn’t seeing patients, Lucas enjoys reading, listening to music, traveling, and spending time outdoors hiking with family and friends.
