Angela Lewis, MSN, BSN, APRN, AGACNP-BC, is a board certified nurse practitioner. She has a special interest in the diagnostic treatment of gastroenterology-related disorders such as Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), Nausea/Vomiting, Fatty Liver Disease, Diarrhea, Constipation, Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD- Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis), Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), and other gastrointestinal ailments.
Lewis started her nursing career by receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Texas Women’s University in Dallas, Texas. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University, where she graduated with honors. Lewis then became board certified as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Lewis has been providing nursing care for 20 years. As a nurse practitioner, Lewis is able to diagnose and treat patients in lieu of a physician. This unique flexibility allows patients the option to book their appointments sooner, expediting the treatment process.
When she is not at the clinic, Lewis enjoys spending time with her husband and children along with being an avid reader of a variety of book genres.
